On Monday, November 20th, we will imersed in a performance by Vittoria Assembri & Gaia Ginevra Giorgi .

The performance reflects on the sound infestation that traffics around the territories of waste and residue.
The investigation is nourished by minor, joint and intertwined practices: field recording with the use of analogue instruments,
exploration of the relationship between sound and architecture and urban planning, use of electromagnetic wave detectors,
microphones that pick up ultrasounds, and contact microphones for the recording of spontaneous compositions through the reuse of "found objects".
The editing and treatment of field recordings made in the Marolles neighborhood, inside the Hectolitre Reactor (swinging club until 2015),
among the magical remains of the Jeu de Balle market, and on the streets of Rue Blaes, Rue des Tanneurs, les bains, up to rue Haute,
Le Petit Lion, produce a sound restitution of the neighborhood, to relaunch new imaginations starting from waste.

Bio Gaia Ginevra Giorgi

Gaia Ginevra Giorgi is author, sound-artist, dramaturg and performer. Artist and researcher active transversally in the field of performing arts,
she develops investigative practices and methodologies for an affective and political rewriting of the landscape (urban and otherwise).
Starting from a feminist and situated approach, through sound installations and site-specific participatory devices,
her interventions produce ephemeral habitats, spaces of embodied and radical imagination.
Her practice, based on minor gestures (poetry, sound, stories, memory, ghosts, dreams and desires), integrates writing, sound, voice and performance;
her works generate new affective and mythopoetic alphabets, occult cartographies that rewrite the past and open up new meanings and directions.
Co-curator with Vittoria Assembri of Walk so silently that the bottoms of your feet become ears (Fango Radio), she is an artist in residence at Radio Raheem.
