The performance Vespertilia is a minimal and perpetual homing that takes place in synergy with the public, who, upon entering the space, changes its sound field.

The route mapping is invented in real time, disoriented, misunderstood and affirmed in the body itself. The performer will do nothing but listen to this change in the soundscape with her eyes closed, exploring. A body that is absolutely visible and at the same time withdrawn and dreamlike, captured by a sort of invisibility from which it is impossible to free it, a carnal ghost exposed to the reading of those who listen and look.

It is a lunar and residual landscape deposited on the body, which becomes language, sound-language to be approached and listened to, from the interstices that are gradually created between the bodies presences that cross the space with the performer.

The audience has the possibility to ring an object to establish a sound and bodily dialogue with the performer, who, picking up the sound, will decide to change direction, essentially relying on the body and the dynamics of the act.

Serena Dibiase is experimental vocalist, sound artist, performer, poet. She identifies his artistic and sound productions with the androgynous name Kratu. She carries out his artistic investigation starting from intense physical/respiratory practices and through analogue and not-analogue devices, to listen to radical phonic geographies, choral happenings, interventions on biophonies and geophonies extracted from explorations in abandoned, wild, industrial spaces, in a horizontal treatment of the sources.
