LAISSER COULER
by Gauze collective

An independent three-day festival

« Laisser Couler » is inviting an exploration of vulva pleasure and body awareness as radical acts of liberation. It also aims to promote a transfeminist, queer, and anti-capitalist perspective that challenges dominant ideas around vulvas, sexuality, and gender. Here, pleasure becomes a form of resistance.

This is a self-managed, self-funded initiative and we support community and alternative subcultural expression, spotlighting the precarity faced by unpaid organizers under pressure.
We value subculture as a vital space for experimentation and dialogue, advocating for greater recognition and support for those who sustain it.
We are committed to a safe, inclusive environment and do not tolerate any form of discrimination. If you feel unsafe or witness unacceptable behavior, please reach out to the team on site or contact us at collectivegauze@gmail.com

Combining curatorial practices, visual arts and community work, her approach is deeply rooted in an interest in affective forms of resistance, questions of territoriality and social organisation. At the border between art, craftsmanship and design, Carla Otero’s work mixes textiles and ceramics. Her priority is not to confine a material to its usual use but to open it to different fields. She is moving towards the upgrading of existing resources that pushes her research to transformation.
