In this event Deborah Ruffato and Javi Fernández are closing their six months residency in Hectolitre showing their ongoing projects “Obscures liaisons” and “Aux murs”.

Through an audiovisual installation, Deborah will share her ongoing exploration of the French poet Colette Peignot, offering a glimpse into the unfolding process of her film, Obscures liaisons.

Deborah Ruffato is a filmmaker and researcher working at the crossroads of writing, film, performance, and human sciences, drawing inspiration from ethnographic sensory cinema as well as somatic practices. Her work questions the relationship between the body and the image, seeing both as terrains for exploring the affective and memorial dimensions of human experience.

Aux murs is a publication where walls become spaces of memory and inscription. A space where traces are left, where what cannot be spoken is written. An opportunity to generate community from the singular experience of inhabiting a collective space.

Javi is a printmaker, art editor and visual creator based between Brussels and Barcelona. His work explores the possibilities and limits of the different printmaking techniques from an intimate perspective reflecting over his own ecosystem.
